Founded in 2022, Field Medical is a clinical-stage medical technology company committed to advancing pulsed field ablation (PFA) solutions for complex cardiac arrhythmias. Its FieldForce Ablation System integrates a focal catheter design with proprietary FieldBending energy designed to safely deliver efficient, precise ablation with the goal of improving outcomes in ventricular and atrial arrhythmia treatment. In 2024, Field Medical earned Breakthrough Device Designation and gained entry into the FDA TAP Pilot Program for its ventricular tachycardia indication. In October 2025, the VCAS trial was published in Circulation.

The FieldForce Ablation System is a focal, contact-sensing PFA system built on proprietary FieldBending™ technology to deliver targeted, high-intensity electric fields using a novel pulsed energy delivery strategy. Designed to support both atrial and ventricular ablation, the system serves as a universal ablation platform for the heart and beyond. The FieldForce system is designed to enable targeted and tailored ablation treatment while platform features focus on procedural efficiency.

About the Role:

We are looking for this role to embody very strong competitive and high-energy qualities. You must be hungry to win and to help Field Medical get to market on time. The candidate must be comfortable pushing team members and holding others accountable for dates, while maintaining strong relationships and respect with the team.

The focus of this role will be on Field Medical’s Generator program, with emphasis on capital system design and manufacturing, embedded and application software. The role will be asked to drive the team through Design Freeze and V&V and prepare the program for IDE trial launch.

This role will report directly to the Program Director and work closely with R&D and Quality team members.

This role will require flexibility and non-standard work hours at times to meet critical deadlines for the company.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Support the Program Director in planning, tracking, and executing project deliverables.
• Maintains detailed project schedules, MS Project Gantt charts with resource loading.
• Creates document tracker and burn-down charts for DHF and DMR document releases.
• Creates material tracker for part inventory and readiness for build events.
• Prepares agendas and leads daily huddles and weekly status or planning meetings.
• Confirms team member work load each week for constraints and capacity opportunities.
• Documents meeting minutes to publish to team and follows up on action items.
• Oversee and push release process and approval of project documentation within quality system.
• Manage contract manufacturers and procurement dashboards.
• Lead vendor communications and drive purchase order issuance and tracking.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or related field.
• 5 years in a product design or advanced (pre-commercial) manufacturing engineering role.
• 5 years of experience in project management.
• Experience managing capital system development (hardware and software) with design controls.
• Experience managing detailed V&V schedules with granularity to test protocols and reports.
• Strong track record of working with contract manufacturers for capital system manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated capability to produce tracking dashboards within Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a medical device start-up.
• PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification.
• Capability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot for documents and meeting minutes.

Location & Travel Requirements:

• On-site (hybrid can be considered in future)
• Travel 20% or less
