Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service in our award-winning, farm-to-table restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining service, acute attention to detail, tracking and operating from key financial metrics, and a proven track record of hospitality management. We are seeking a passionate caretaker who is committed to delivering memorable experiences for guests and a fun, enriching and positive work environment for our team. This role requires proven leadership skills, a willingness to care for and nurture the growth of each team member, a strong capacity for organization and attention to detail, and the ability to prepare for and execute a consistent, high-level service each evening.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Dining Room Manager, Service, Support and Host Teams.
- Responsible for managing the weekly FOH schedule; ensuring appropriate staffing levels balance with service demand.
- Overseeing staffing and section assignments based on reservations and projected walk-in volume.
- Manage the reservation book including plotting availability, overseeing the details and organization of the reservation book, overseeing special guest requests, and orchestrating the flow of service each night.
- Overseeing hospitality coordinator regarding all group dining requests balancing reservation volumes and staffing availability.
- Ensuring service-related supplies, including linens, glassware, silverware, coffee and tea are inventoried, stocked and organized.
- Connect with guests; managing guest experience and points of dissatisfaction.

Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of fine dining management experience.
- Must have training experience and proven track record of system implementation and execution of standards
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to carry a full case of wine and move quickly in an old historic building with many stairs and outside dinner service.
- Must have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, contribute, and grow within a team environment.
- Must be a confident leader that trains and supports with humility and respect.
- Must have computer proficiency including MS Office Suite

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
