Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide information about available games, attractions, and upcoming events
- Manage guest interactions with enthusiasm, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable experience
- Oversee game/arcade operations, including reservations, ticketing, prize redemption, and equipment troubleshooting
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety checks to maintain a secure environment for all visitors
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS systems and process ticket sales or merchandise purchases
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or conflicts with professionalism and conflict management skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the arcade, host, and game area, including manual handling of equipment when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in public speaking situations
- Experience working with children and understanding their needs for a family-friendly environment
- Knowledge of retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when needed
- Familiarity with safety protocol adherence, conflict management, and basic math skills for transaction processing
- Experience in food service or sports bar environments is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude is most important!
