Maintenance Manager – Country Club Apartments
Huntington, WV | Full-Time
Country Club Apartments is hiring a full-time Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations of our apartment community in Huntington, WV. Country Club Apartments is professionally managed by Field Properties.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in their work, provides excellent customer service, and can effectively manage the day-to-day maintenance needs of a residential community.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community
- Lead, train, and support maintenance team members
- Complete and oversee resident work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, carpentry, and other maintenance issues
- Coordinate and complete apartment turnovers to ensure units are ready for new residents
- Perform routine property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program
- Oversee the upkeep of building interiors, exteriors, grounds, common areas, and community amenities
- Coordinate outside contractors and vendors when necessary
- Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory
- Assist with obtaining quotes and coordinating larger repair and capital projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and property inspections
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance situations
- Work closely with the Community Manager to maintain the overall appearance and operation of the property
- Provide residents with professional, courteous, and responsive customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment, multifamily, or residential maintenance experience required
- Previous maintenance supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
- HVAC certification or experience preferred
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple work orders, projects, and property needs
- Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when working with residents
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
- Must live within 30 minutes of the property or be willing to relocate
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with apartment maintenance
