Our custom mill shop is seeking an experienced draftsman. In this role, your primary function is to create technical drawings for our building projects (everything from custom furniture to traditional kitchens) using a computer-aided design program, like AutoCAD. These drawings are an essential tool for our project team, so they must be detailed and timely.
Draftsman Duties and Responsibilities
- Use computer-aided design software to create 3D and 2D technical drawings
- Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project team
- Calculate dimensions and material requirements
Draftsman Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD software but bring what you know best
- CNC router operation experience a plus
- Attention to detail
