Site Manager/Electromechanical Technician III

Fidelity Technology Services seeks a Site Manager/Electromechanical Technician III for its Sub CMS program at Pearl Harbor, HI. The Site Manager shall have demonstrated a minimum of three (3) years’ competence through satisfactory, progressive performance as a manager. The Site Manager shall also have a minimum of eight (8) years of technical experience or field experience with equipment of comparable complexity to those being supported hereunder with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Proficiency in electronics, instrumentation, and computer systems is mandatory. The Site Manager shall have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technically related discipline. Two (2) years of technical, military or field technical experience in the simulation or TS/E field is deemed equivalent to one (1) year of formal education at a recognized center of technical education.

Site Manager Requirements:

• The SM shall be responsible for contractor operation and maintenance performance, ensuring proper communication between the Contractor and Government personnel and should be readily available to the government any time. Site-specific requirements are provided in site specific Appendices and may be tailored to meet the government’s requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensures simulators and training devices are in a fully operational condition and ready for training
• Ensures operations personnel are trained to fully exploit the capabilities of the simulators and training devices as applicable
• Ensures the inventory is maintained and replacement parts are ordered timely
• Solicits user feedback on trainer readiness, simulator/training device quality and staff capability
• Shall meet daily, at a minimum, with the COR(s) to discuss:
• Simulator and Training Device Status Report (TDSR) – This report should identify all known problems with each simulator and training device, and the mission capability for each device
• Ensures CDRL submissions are accurate and timely.

Senior Electromechanical Technician (EMT III) Requirements:

A Senior Electromechanical Technician shall have demonstrated competence through satisfactory, progressive performance as a training system, equipment, or a simulator technician. As a minimum, this shall four (4) years training system, equipment, or simulator maintenance experience of which three (3) years must be in the maintenance of all major electromechanical areas, systems, and subsystems of the major trainers outlined in Part 1 of this SOW, on which the Senior Electromechanical Technician is to work. This time shall be exclusive of formalized training. The Senior Electromechanical Technician may have graduated from a two (2) year technician resident course at an accredited technical institute or have completed the Navy's factory or formal training on a comparable system, however it is not a requirement. Training systems, equipment, or simulator maintenance experience and education may be substituted for the above requirements if deemed equivalent by the Government.

Of the three (3) years’ requisite simulation repair experience, the Senior Electromechanical Technician shall have demonstrated experience and competence in each of the following areas:

• • Overhaul and repair of hydraulic & pneumatic valves, reducers, compressors and motion systems
• Complex digital-to-analog integration
• High voltage systems
• Digital interfaces
• Fabrication and assembly of new or modified mechanical components or assemblies
• Tests and repairs machinery and equipment, such as industrial machinery and equipment
• Comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of the TS/E identified in applicable Appendices of the SOW, or their equivalents
• Large scale, multi-computer system integration
• Image generation and projection display systems
• Large scale, complex digital-to-analog integration
• Large scale, complex digital interfaces
• High density cable and plug repair
• Software maintenance

Additionally, the Senior Electromechanical Technician shall have demonstrated experience and competence in the following areas:

• Large scale, complex analog systems
• Servo systems
• Machine tools and measuring instruments
• Complex analog synchro and servo TS/E repair
• Major electro-pneumatic systems
• Major electro-hydraulic systems
• HVAC systems.
