Job Description: The Role The Advanced Strategies & Research Technology Team within Fidelity Asset Management is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive innovation in analytics and data processing. This role focuses on building scalable solutions using Python, SQL, Angular, and AWS to extract insights from structured and unstructured datasets. Ideal for a technical leader with enterprise development experience, the position offers a fast-paced, experimental environment where you’ll collaborate closely with investment professionals to deliver high-impact tools. Willing to be in the on-call rotation. The Expertise and Skills You Bring You bring 5 years of enterprise development experience, with deep expertise in Python, RDBMS, AWS, and Angular or React. You’re skilled in object-oriented programming, data pipeline development, and cloud migration. Your background includes rapid prototyping, REST API integration, and scripting in Linux/Windows. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities, and leading technical solutions from design to deployment. You have a track record of engineering experience by processing large datasets and building scalable applications and Rapid Prototyping You have a background with enterprise development and a consistent record rapidly bring projects from inception to delivery in ambitious timeframes. Using Python and RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL You have solid experience in Object Oriented Programming in Java or C# or Python You have experience in Angular / React and building SPA applications You have solid experience in developing custom Data Pipelines to extract data, map data, transform data, and to load data in various data stores like RDBMS, Oracle, S3, PL/SQL, and / or shared drives. You have solid experience in Python and libraries such as Pandas / Numpy, etc. or Spark You are familiar with extracting data from REST APIs Your demonstrable experience developing scripting in Linux and Windows Experience with migrating applications to AWS (Cloud) will be an added advantage. Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. AMT is an integral partner for Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enable Asset Management to achieve competitive advantage globally. The base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
