The Experience We’re Looking For Extensive experience working with Python and at least one other language. Extensive experience working with AWS or Azure. Extensive experience working with Kubernetes and Kubernetes ecosystem. Extensive experience working hands-on with infrastructure as code. An advocate for delivering software using the latest engineering best practices and principles. Strong mentoring, coaching skills and communication skills. Passion for new technologies and working in an agile environment. Bonus Skills Working knowledge of Go. Experience working with observability platforms. Experience working with the opensource community. The Team This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Principal Cloud Engineer to join Fidelity Architecture and Engineering, who are responsible for enabling the next generation cloud platforms across Fidelity. We excel in the construction of high quality, secure and scalable cloud platforms using industry-leading engineering principles and practices. The base salary range for this position is $107,000-216,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
