What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer / Instructional Designer position at Fidelity TalentSource?
Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Technical Writer / Instructional Designer to work in Westlake, TX!
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to edit and enhance policy and procedure documents. Facilitate and track the process of moving draft content through appropriate review cycles to be ready for final publishing in MyGPS.
Required skills include:
- Technical writing
- Editing for clarity and grammar
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to write, review, and finalize content
- Project Management
- Strong communication skills
- Instructional design
- Using non-intuitive computer programs
Advanced Experience using MS Word to write, edit, format, and publish content. Experience with learning authoring tools such as NovoEd (preferred but not required), Captivate, Illustrator, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Some roles may have unique onsite requirements. Please consult with your recruiter for the specific expectations for this position.
