The Role
Our data is moving faster than ever and as we prepare for more complex, timely analytics and AI, our data will need to be ready to handle it The Data Quality Analyst will be primarily writing data quality rules using our internal data trust platform. In this critical role, you are helping identify data quality issues early, before they manifest themselves in downstream reporting and escalate into a real problem that impacts business operations. Additional responsibilities include documenting these rules.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to consistently identify and appreciate quality at both the macro and micro level
- Basic understanding of statistics
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and a query language (SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment
- Comfortable raising issues and errors to team members
Responsibilities include:
Data Quality Rules
- Writing data quality rules using our internal data trust platform
- Ensuring rule coverage on all critical views and tables
- Documenting these newly created data quality rules
Data Quality Assurance
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
- Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies
- Address and resolve data availability issues

The Data Quality Analyst, Analytics & Performance Insights is part of Fidelity’s Brokerage group, specifically within the Strategy, Planning & Enablement Team. We provide holistic reporting and analytics support to the Brokerage Client Services organization.
