Job Summary:
Provides specialized care to women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, postpartum, and reproductive health, supporting both patients and their families throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals.
- Administer pain management (e.g., epidurals) and assist during vaginal or C-section deliveries.
- Conduct postpartum monitoring and newborn assessments.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care.
- Identify and respond to complications.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment.
- BLS (AHA) and NRP (AHA) certifications required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
