Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech:
- Prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, evaluate images, document care, communicate with patients/doctors, and ensure radiation safety.
Job Duties:
- Administers and withholds contrast and treatment as appropriate.
- Assess patients for allergies.
- Peripheral Vascular work.
- Venous Central Lines.
- Tube Changes.
- Embolization Work (Venous and Arterial).
- Venous Thrombectomy Work.
- Takes late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.
- Peripheral Vascular work.
- Venous Central Lines.
- Tube Changes.
- Embolization Work (Venous and Arterial).
- Venous Thrombectomy Work.
- Experience with Interventional Neurology is preferred.
- Dialysis work (AV Fistulas, Tunneled Dialysis Catheters, Peritoneal Dialysis Catheters)
- Tube access and changes (G-tube, Chole, Neph, Biliary, Abscess, SPC)
- Neuro (is ideal) (Cerebral arterial/venous, Kyphoplasty)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- IEMA Radiography License Illinois.
- Radiography (R)(ARRT).
Required Experience:
- two years or more in the following: Peripheral vascular work Venous Central Lines Tube Changes Neuro (would be ideal) Embolization work (Arterial/ Venous) Venous Thrombectomy work
