Role Description

This is can be a full-time, or as-needed basis on-site role for an Escrow Officer floater, based in Santa Barbara, CA. The Floating Escrow Officer will be providing vacation coverage for an escrow desk. While covering a desk, these responsibilities will include managing escrow transactions, facilitate closings, and coordinate with all parties involved in real estate transactions. Responsibilities include performing notarial acts or assigning a qualified Notary agent, ensuring compliance with state and company regulations, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining effective communication with clients and other stakeholders. The role requires exceptional attention to detail and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with Escrow and Closings, including managing all aspects of real estate transactions
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to effectively address client needs and ensure satisfaction
• Knowledge of Residential Real Estate, including familiarity with real estate documents, regulations, and industry practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced on-site environment
• Previous experience as an Escrow Officer or in a related field is highly beneficial
• State-mandated certification or licensing for escrow operations is required
