Family Service & Pre-Need Sales Advisor

Role Description The Family Service & Pre-Need Sales Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Savannah or Brunswick, GA and/or Beaufort, SC locations. This position is responsible for meeting with families to discuss and explain pre-need funeral and cemetery options, guiding them through planning decisions with empathy and professionalism. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, presenting service and product options, preparing proposals, and completing all related documentation with accuracy and compliance. The Advisor will follow up with families to ensure ongoing support, maintain detailed records in company systems, and coordinate with funeral home and cemetery staff to deliver a seamless client experience. The role also involves participating in community outreach, attending onsite events, and working toward individual and team sales goals while upholding the company’s standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer-focused Service, with a commitment to supporting families respectfully and compassionately.
• Ability to drive Customer Satisfaction through attentive listening, clear expectations, and timely follow-up.
• Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain pre-need options and guide families through complex decisions.
• Experience with Aftersales support, including maintaining relationships with families and ensuring ongoing service needs are met.
• Prior experience in sales, counseling, or family service roles, ideally within funeral, cemetery, insurance, or related fields.
• Comfort discussing end-of-life planning and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with discretion and empathy.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple appointments, follow-ups, and documentation accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, counseling, or a related field is beneficial.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Savannah or Brunswick, GA and/or Beaufort, SC locations, including some evenings or weekends as needed to meet client needs.
• No cemetery experience is required. We provide training for the right individual with the heart to serve and the desire to succeed.
