North Carolina's premier funeral services company, searching for a Mortuary Transport Driver to prepare and transport human remains from place of death to the appropriate facility.

Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented, able to work independently as well as with others, able to communicate with families on their worst day. The highest level of ethics, integrity and professional appearance are must. Due to the sensitive nature of our profession, a suit and tie, or female equivalent, is worn at all times.
What you will do:
Perform transfers of deceased from place of passing, i.e. accident scenes, nursing homes, hospitals and residences. As this is a very 'hands on' vocation, (Requiring to touch, lift, gently move deceased), it demands a high level of physical fitness and mental fortitude. This is an 'on call' position, meaning you take possession of company vehicles and are dispatched from the comfort of your own home. Compensation is highly competitive, providing our employees the flexibility and resources to flourish. THIS JOB REQUIRES HEAVY LIFTING. Our staff is required to be able to lift and carry (with a partner) weights in excess of 300 pounds, sometimes down flights of stairs.
Schedule: On call rotating schedule
Compensation: $16-25 per hour
