FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build
back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and
technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.
We are looking for the perfect candidate to expand our custodial team!
Applicants should be:
- Able to work well individually or in a team environment.
- Complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- Display being detail oriented eye/hand coordination.
- Able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Overview
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of our facility.
Equipment/Machinery Used
Will have use of essential cleaning supplies and chemicals
Essential Functions
- Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
- Gathers and empties trash.
- Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
- Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
- Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
- Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
- Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
- Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Education and Experience:
High School or equivalent diploma with 1 year Janitorial experience (Preferred)
Required Qualifications/Training
Gain trust, respect, and good working relationships with all shift supervisors, management team, co-workers, and other employees. Develop knowledge of the production environment and layout of the shop. Obtain necessary training requirements and safety procedures.
Please note: All employees must also be able to work in a warehouse setting that includes exposure to noise, all weather conditions, small levels of airborne particles and occasionally lift more than 50-75lbs. Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and company policy.
