Job Title: Vice President, Service Delivery Team Lead (VP Team Lead)

The Role

The Vice President, Service Delivery Team Lead (VP Team Lead) has overall accountability and leadership of service integration for Workplace Investing Strategic Market institutional client relationships. This position requires maintaining oversight of Vice President level Service Delivery Leaders (SDL) and Integrated Service Consultants (ISC).

The VP Team Lead is responsible for driving overall integration to maximize business results. Focus areas include client retention and loyalty, project execution, and relationship risk mitigation strategies. Additional management duties include associate development, performance evaluation, compensation planning and hiring. The VP Team Lead is also a Supervisory Principal responsible for compliance oversight of all registered representative direct reports.

• Build competencies in associates to deliver outstanding results that benefit clients and Fidelity Investments.
• Work closely with each unique associate to identify strengths and opportunities while leveraging best practices of existing talent.
• Coach and mentor direct reports to provide continued career development and evaluate performance.
• Coach and mentor service team members to provide continued career development and enhanced client outcomes and provide leadership to create an empowered culture.
• Proactively cultivate relationships with desired feeder organizations (internal and external) to produce and maintain a talent pipeline.
• Ensure that team is compliant with all appropriate rules and regulations. For example: review customer correspondence, licensing, sales literature, and client presentations.
• Support Managing Directors and SDLs in the development of Client business Plan/Strategy.
• Acting as Client advocate internally.
• Representing Fidelity Relationship Management Leadership at Client and internally
• Client Senior Management escalation point for multi-product service issues or second escalation for single product service issues.
• Partnering with Functional Business Unit Heads to drive margin improvement and process efficiencies.
• Participate in organizational project/initiatives that as TL we join to represent the RM Services Organization.
• College degree required
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Institutional client management and growth experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience required.
• Complete series 7, 24 & 63 exams within 120 days of hire.
• Strong demonstrated negotiation skills spanning complex financial and service delivery related topics, both internal and client facing.
• Proven ability to navigate and influence executive level business leaders, both internal and client facing across multiple functions and businesses.
• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities, balancing the needs of the client and the organization.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and career developments skills with a tenured team of professionals
• Demonstrated consultative sales skills.
• Expert presentation, meeting management, and communication skills.
  
  

The Team

The VP Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of multi-product client relationships including the following services: Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Equity Compensation, Health Savings Accounts, Managed Accounts, Health & Welfare, Self-Directed Brokerage, and Benefits Consulting.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
