As a Manager, Fund Operations, you will lead a team of analysts performing daily/monthly review of components of NAV (Net Asset Value), Mil rates and fund yields. As part of Fidelity's Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit, the Fund Operations division provides accounting and pricing services to all Fidelity Retail and Institutional products, including books and records maintenance, securities' pricing, and NAV, yield and distribution rate calculations. The Fund Accounting department performs the daily pricing and bookkeeping for retail funds and institutional funds within FFIO. Would you like to be a part of this innovative team?

- Coordinate and manage departmental workflows
- Participate in and execute strategy and initiatives set forth by senior leadership
- Identify and recommend changes to systems, processes, responsibilities, reporting, etc.
- Coordinate testing of new technology prior to roll out into production and report results to peers and managers
- Provide technical leadership and act as a technical resource to group, as well as other areas of Fidelity
- Monitor and assess the department’s control environment; identify potential issues and their impact on internal controls; drive a course of action to mitigate risk
- Raise operational incidents to senior management and Risk team; manage resolution process
- Lead and manage relationships with business partners; meet and exceed service level expectations
- Degree Preferred
- 5 years of industry experience
- 5 years prior accounting/reconciliation/reporting
- Derivative experience a plus
- Comfortable presenting to a senior audience
- Ability to strategically resolve complex problems
- Prior people management experience (nice to have)
- Lead by Example
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships with business partners
- Ability to collaborate across business department and units
- Ability to drive initiatives and achieve of results
- Late Hour Rotation: Work hours range from 7am-8/9 pm CT. There is a weekly late evening rotation that is responsible for finishing up pricing. Rotations can wrap up by 730pm but occasionally run longer. The Associate can come in later the days they are scheduled to price and work a typical shift.
