We are a comprehensive central architecture practice, leading Information Technology (IT) strategy and architecture transformation, IT oversight and governance, promoting collaboration and open communication to facilitate better decision-making at all levels. The Purpose of Your Role
As a member of the architecture team, you will take part in a whole new integrated experience platform. You will work with architecture and application teams to help champion innovation, drive standardization, and deliver modern technology patterns across the stack for our customers' use. You will contribute to the product roadmap evolution in conjunction with business unit product goals and provide leadership in computing services, adoption of platforms and consolidation across our team's initiatives.
The Expertise You Have
An ideal candidate will have a solid computer science foundation, an effective combination of interpersonal and technical skills, and a passion for learning and expanding into other technologies. You have worked closely and built positive relationships with UX, product owners, QA, and customers building rich UX mobile and desktop applications.
The Skills You Bring
· 10 years of experience in software engineering writing native mobile and/or desktop applications
· 3 years of AppKit macOS UI development
· 6 years of iOS app development using Swift, and Objective-C. C/C knowledge a plus
· Familiar with SwiftUI and Apple’s cross-platform development
· Knowledge of APIs, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and emerging technologies in Apple’s ecosystem (familiarity with Android and Web ecosystems a plus)
· Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS
· Good understanding of design patterns, such as Clean Architecture, Redux, or MVP/MVC
· Experience building GraphQL, RESTful, and/or web sockets clients
· Passion for writing readable, maintainable, and well-tested code
· Strong desire to experiment and work with the latest Apple, AWS, and Android technologies
· Good understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
· Experience with agile development, DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery
· Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members.
· Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc...) Architecture is beneficial
· Contribution to the open-source community would be beneficial

How Your Work Impacts the Organization You will be embedded in a squad and work directly with its members to prioritize and handle what needs to be done and in what sequence to deliver customer facing applications. You will coordinate closely with your squad leader and colleagues across the enterprise to stay aligned on business and technology goals and make sure your squad is progressing and delivering against them. You will also occasionally represent the voice of the customer, and make sure squad members understand their needs and preferences.
