Marketing Operations Manager

Simplfid is looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable about communication engagement (e-mail and push notifications), marketing automation, data management and marketing technology. The Role

  • Develop and execute complex, multi-channel campaigns (email, push, in app surfaces) end to end
  • Develop a best-in-class global lifecycle program through rigorous experimentation
  • Execute daily and weekly email and push campaigns
  • Discover new opportunities to reach our audience through personalized emails, push notifications and in app messages
  • Work closely with the Director and VP of Growth and Acquisition on defining communications strategy and own the execution across multiple channels
  • Work with Product, Service and Plynk Leadership, as well as legal and compliance teams to take a task through to the finish line
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing organization to build campaigns as well as measurement/refinements
  • Establish and report on campaign performance and effectiveness
  • Become an expert on Plynk’s marketing automation tools

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5 years of comparable experience in customer engagement roles preferred
  • Experience with marketing technology with the ability to build and launch new capabilities and communications
  • Expert understanding and experience working with a customer engagement platform
  • Awareness of coding requirements and delivery issues for HTML emails, and familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Experience setting up an email marketing channel or in an email marketing role with a strong understanding of deliverability and performance best practices
  • Knowledge of lifecycle marketing strategies and cross channel campaigns including push and in app messaging
  • A track-record of proven business results through testing and deploying effective marketing campaigns across different channels in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail with swift execution mindset
  • Well versed in marketing operations and up to date on the latest trends and tactics to drive customer growth
  • Strong analytical skills and base level understanding of measurement and data
  • Strong relationship building and business partnership skills, and can build credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a complex organization with multiple decision-makers

  • Certification in customer engagement platform
  • Experience with mobile marketing
  • Experience working in an agile work environment
