Construction Loan Administrator

Job Overview: The candidate for this position will be responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio of construction loans and loan closings of moderate complexity.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers and lenders throughout the construction and loan process.
• Administering and monitoring a portfolio of construction, ensuring all conditions, documentation, and timelines are met.
• Preparing, reviewing, and processing loan documentation, and gathering all required application materials.
• Coordinating with internal departments and external partners, including title companies, inspectors, attorneys, surveyors, and other vendors, throughout all stages of financing.
• Guiding customers, loan officers, and third-party vendors through the loan process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policy requirements.
• Maintaining and updating loan and credit files and performing post-closing reviews.
• Monitoring portfolio reports, tracking and clearing exceptions, and following up with clients on outstanding items.
• Providing daily operational support for lending staff, including processing draws, insurance/tax items, payoffs, loan proceeds, wires, and check requests.

Requirements for the position include:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years prior experience in a similar role within real estate lending or servicing.
• Proficient in spreadsheet functions and computer applications.
• Effective at communicating and collaborating, with attention to detail and strong organization skills

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (may be waived in lieu of experience)
