Fidelis Specialty Pharmacy is looking for a highly qualified Part-Time Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations. This position offers the perfect balance between leadership and flexibility, providing a reduced workweek while still carrying significant responsibility. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient functioning.
- Ensure full compliance with URAC accreditation requirements.
- Safeguard and maintain controlled substance inventory in line with all relevant regulations.
- Lead quality improvement projects and ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
- Implement and enforce adherence to company policies, third-party payer regulations, and accreditation requirements.
- Represent the pharmacy during licensing authority meetings and surveys.
- Guide and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices by participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree from an accredited U.S. pharmacy school.
- Nevada pharmacist license (additional licensure preferred).
- California license and multi-state licensing are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience or completion of PGY-1/2 residency.
- Specialty pharmacy experience preferred, particularly in managing chronic conditions like bleeding disorders.
- Adherence and experience with URAC/ACHC accreditation requirements for specialty pharmacies.
- CPR , CareTend, or Inovalon experience is desired
- Advanced proficiency in technology with a strong aptitude for leveraging digital health software and systems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
- Spanish language proficiency is highly coveted.
