Treasury Operations Manager

Location: Cranford, New Jersey

Company: Fidelis Investors

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Treasury Operations Manager to lead invoice processing, payments, and cash management across both our fund entities and management company.

In this role, you’ll be at the center of our Finance operations — managing day-to-day AP workflows, supporting capital activity, and ensuring every dollar moves accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership on investment closings, capital calls, and distributions, while strengthening internal controls and streamlining processes.

If you’re a hands-on finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments and enjoys building scalable systems, this role is for you. Experience in financial services or fund administration is highly preferred, along with strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

What You’ll Do

Invoice & Expense Management

  • Oversee and process invoices for both fund expenses (legal, due diligence, fund admin, tax advisors) and management company expenses (rent, IT, professional services)
  • Ensure proper cost allocations across entities and SPVs per partnership agreements
  • Manage employee expense reimbursements and enforce T&E policies

Wire Processing & Cash Management

  • Coordinate and execute wires for:
  • Fund activities: investment closings, capital calls, investor distributions, and fund operating expenses
  • Management company: vendor payments and intercompany transfers
  • Partner with senior finance leadership to maintain dual authorization and compliance with approval policies
  • Forecast cash requirements and provide liquidity reports to controllers and the CFO

Controls, Compliance & Audit Support

  • Maintain clear segregation of duties for invoice approvals and wire releases
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC guidelines, and internal policies
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and support tax filings and regulatory reviews

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee vendor onboarding (banking info, W-9s, AML/KYC documentation)
  • Serve as the main contact for law firms, fund administrators, and other service providers
  • Negotiate payment terms and nurture strong vendor relationships

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Manage AP systems and workflows (Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, or other ERP tools)
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes
  • Support fund and management company reconciliations

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare AP aging reports, variance analyses, and cash outflow forecasts
  • Track KPIs such as invoice cycle time, discount capture, and outstanding liabilities
  • Provide data-driven insights to help guide liquidity and cash management decisions

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
  • 5–8 years of AP or fund accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
  • Background in private equity, hedge funds, or fund administration preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP/AP automation tools (QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, NetSuite, Intacct, Concur, Coupa) and banking platforms (J.P. Morgan ACCESS, Webster E-Treasury, Bank of New York NEXEN, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, fund structures (partnerships, SPVs), and internal controls
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, deal-driven environment

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and deal teams
  • Opportunity to design, optimize, and scale AP operations at a growing investment firm
