Fidelis Companies is seeking a driven Biopharma/Life Sciences Recruiter to grow our established practice focused on placing scientific and clinical talent across the drug development lifecycle. This role offers the ability to work on high-impact, mission-driven positions that directly support scientific advancement—and offers strong financial upside for ambitious recruiters.
This role encompasses recruitment for both full-time (permanent) positions AND contract/contract-to-hire roles, giving you a diversified book of business and comp potential.
Responsibilities Include:
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with scientists, clinical operations professionals, regulatory experts, and biotech leaders.
- Recruiting for both permanent roles and contract staffing needs.
- Partnering with Business Development and hiring teams to understand position requirements, timelines, and core competencies.
- Managing the complete recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination for contract hires.
- Utilizing creative recruiting strategies—market mapping, referrals, cold outreach, industry forums—to continuously expand your scientific network.
- Staying informed on industry trends such as clinical trial phases, regulatory shifts, and therapeutic-area growth.
Must Have:
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Competitive and resilient mindset—confidence to work in a high-reward, fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Interest in the life sciences or healthcare (you do not need a science degree).
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously across both permanent and contract roles.
