Staff/Principal Physical Design Engineer
Full Time
Individual Contributor role open to Staff or Principal level engineers
Fully Onsite- Central Colorado
$400K total compensation plan comprised of base, bonus, and RSU's (higher comp packages depend on experience level/skillset)
Relocation Assistance provided
Work with the latest technology to continue driving next generation AI/ML ecosystems including PCIe Switch and Enterprise Storage Products.
Team Responsibilities
The team serves as an interface between the
- Physical Design team
- RTL Design team
Key responsibilities:
- RTL quality analysis and review
- Floorplanning activities
- Ensuring RTL is deliverable to Physical Design with minimal iteration
- Methodology development and process improvement
- Supporting growing project workload across multiple programs
Must Have:
- Strong Physical Design background
- Floorplanning experience
- Synopsys Fusion Compiler
- Synopsys PrimeTime
- Power analysis tools and methodologies
- Permanent work authorization (Broadcom is not sponsoring visas)
Nice to Have:
- PCIe experience (helpful but not required)
- Package design awareness
- Die size estimation and floorplanning considerations related to packaging
