Job Summary
This is a field-based position covering Westbury, Glen Cove, Elmont, Hicksville, Uniondale (Nassau). We're seeking a bilingual representative who can communicate effectively with individuals in English and Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi.
Position Purpose
The Health Benefit Representative (HBR) sells Fidelis Care products and services by identifying growth opportunities in assigned territories and meeting or exceeding production goals through enrollment. The HBR fully understands and effectively communicates product features, benefits, and recommendations to individuals, ensuring they enroll in the best product for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs-based analysis to understand individual needs and recommend suitable products.
- Educate individuals on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services, and assist with application and enrollment processes.
- Represent Fidelis Care at community events, marketing sites, and in-home settings, generating referrals for other potential customers.
- Establish relationships within the community to find new opportunities and sites, delivering presentations to promote Fidelis Care products.
- Use Sales Force CRM as an activity tracking and lead/referral tracking tool, managing appointments, follow-ups, and reporting to management.
Requirements
This is a high-engagement field-based position requiring occasional evenings and weekends. A High School diploma or GED is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in managed care, sales, customer service, or related fields. Basic computer skills and a driver's license are also necessary.
