roject Overview
This project is to support an infrastructure upgrade for a core banking system (mainly deposit functions) used at a Brazil office, from the perspective of a major Japanese megabank?s US entity.
- Windows Server OS version upgrade for the environment hosting the core banking system
- The project will be driven mainly from the test phase onward (testing, migration, and operations readiness)
- Close collaboration with IT teams in both the US and Brazil offices will be required

US-side PMO (Command / Control role) ? 1 resource expected
Rather than general PM skills, we strongly prefer candidates with hands-on experience and a technical background relevant to similar infrastructure upgrade projects.
? Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead one or more of the following areas in the infrastructure upgrade project:
- Testing phase
- Migration phase
- Operational acceptance / readiness from an operations perspective
- Cover US-side execution tasks during the implementation phase, including for example:
- Development of test plans
- Definition and organization of migration policies and execution plans
- Preparation of project-related policy documents and presentation materials
- Drive the project forward in a hands-on manner while working closely with US and Brazil IT department members
Requirements
Required
- Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Hands-on leadership experience in either testing or migration phases of infrastructure upgrade projects
- Mid-level to senior-level experience
- Must understand and meet the quality and documentation standards expected by a Japanese bank
Preferred / Plus Factors
- Japanese nationality, or experience working with Japanese companies / megabank projects
- Experience with Windows Server upgrades, including EOS and version upgrades
- Experience in upgrading or migrating legacy environments, including emulator-based systems
- Experience in projects involving collaboration between the US and overseas offices (e.g. Latin America)
