Part-Time Retail Cashier

In this position, you will be required to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Compensation is based on experience, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space.
• Show a willingness to learn and apply best practices in retail organization.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Assist in organizing inventory, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and merchandise is properly displayed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to sell products and services effectively
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Time management skills to ensure efficient operations during peak hours
