Position Overview
We are seeking a line cook who takes ownership of their station and execute with consistency, discipline, and attention to detail.
This role is responsible for maintaining the standards of a specific station, whether pasta, hot apps, garde manger, grill, or pastry while working collaboratively with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth, precise service.
You will be part of a kitchen focused on seasonal ingredients, Italian influence, and technique-driven cooking, where organization and consistency are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
Station Ownership & Execution
- Own and execute a designated station with consistency, precision, and strong attention to detail
- Maintain proper timing, organization, and communication during service
- Ensure all dishes meet Casa Rialto standards before leaving the kitchen
Prep & Mise en Place
- Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station at all times
- Support core production including pasta, sauces, and foundational prep
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to support overall kitchen execution
- Communicate clearly with teammates to maintain flow during service
- Step in to support other stations as needed during high-volume periods
Standards & Cleanliness
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and organization standards
- Uphold all Casa Rialto kitchen procedures and expectations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or chef de partie preferred
- Strong understanding of cooking fundamentals and kitchen organization
- Culinary degree preferred
- Fine dining or detail-driven kitchen experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and events
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
