Your responsibilities
- Installation, qualification, SAT, and commissioning of ficonTEC systems at customer sites worldwide
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, optical, pneumatic, software, and process-related issues on automated assembly and test systems
- Support of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency service activities
- Optimization of automated processes in collaboration with customers
- Training customers on machine operation, software, maintenance, and best practices
- Documentation of service activities, root cause findings, and corrective actions through service reports and internal systems
- Close collaboration with engineering, software, applications, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues
- Support of machine upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assistance with spare parts recommendations and identification of service and upgrade opportunities
- Participation in customer and project meetings as required
- International business travel as part of a globally active company
- Travel throughout the United States, Canada, and occasionally internationally
Your Profile
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, optics, physics technology (or comparable/similar courses of study)
- Relevant professional experience in a comparable position within a medium-sized manufacturing company is desirable
- Experience in using and applying a common programming language
- You impress with your communication skills and know how to strike a successful balance between the requirements of the organization and the expectations of our customers—both internally and externally

- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 35%
