What are the responsibilities and job description for the Managing Associate Commercial Broker – Vice President position at Fickling & Company?
Reporting to the Commercial and Residential Sales and Leasing Broker (Senior Vice President), the Managing Associate Commercial Broker (Vice President) manages and oversees all commercial sales and leasing operations, agents, and employees. This role will be key in actively recruiting and developing new agents and developing new business.
Essential Functions
1. Manage all aspects of the commercial brokerage department for Fickling & Company, Inc., including managing all sales agents and support staff.
2. Facilitating company growth by pursuing and procuring new business opportunities and agreements.
3. Recruiting and training new commercial sales agents.
4. Provide guidance on all commercial real estate broker practices, regulations, real estate commission rules and laws and ensure that the company’s brokers and agents are kept up to date on the latest trends and practices.
5. Be available to answer questions from brokers and agents working for the company and help resolve disputes relating to the commercial broker business.
6. Conduct monthly sales meetings to keep all commercial agents apprised of the status of listings and sales and changes in laws, trends, etc. and to provide general information each month.
7. Fulfill all functions under Georgia law to ensure that you, the broker, and all agents remain in compliance with all real estate laws, rules, and regulations.
Non-Essential Functions:
1. May be necessary to use personal vehicle to travel to other offices or off-site meetings.
2. Other duties assigned by the Commercial and Residential Sales and Leasing Broker.
Working Conditions
The job environment entails working in a temperature-controlled location with office machinery, such as: computers, printers, copiers and the like. The work associated with this position entails extended periods of sitting.
