Position Overview:
The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our advanced manufacturing facility, ensuring it always reflects the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, emptying trash receptacles
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restroom supplies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the grounds.
- Complete tasks and projects independently, minimizing disruptions to production.
- Identify and report hazardous conditions and maintenance needs to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures and comply with all workplace policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 4 years of relevant custodial or maintenance experience, demonstrating proficiency in key tasks.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and other relevant software for communication and task management.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift and move objects, and stay active throughout the workday.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a structured workspace.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.

Hours of Operation:
Normal business hours: 7:00AM – 4:00PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as scheduled by leadership.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
- Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
- Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
