The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the procurement and management of materials. Key responsibilities include demand planning, inventory monitoring, supervising procurement activities, supplier negotiations, and maintaining effective supply chain processes. The role will involve developing strategies to optimize production schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and products. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Constantine, MI.
- Skills in Demand Planning and the ability to forecast and align inventory with business needs
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement
- Expertise in Supply Management and Procurement, including strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations
- Experience with Inventory Management to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce waste
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is an asset
- Knowledge of the laminated paperboard, automotive, or packaging industry is a plus
