Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fiber Optic Salesman to drive growth and expand our presence in the fiber optic communications industry. Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct cold calls, product demos, and face-to-face meetings with potential clients to generate leads and close sales.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer information, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate territory management efforts by identifying market trends, analyzing competitors, and expanding market reach through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize sales revenue while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Deliver technical product presentations that clearly demonstrate the benefits of fiber optic solutions tailored to customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a focus on fiber optics or related telecommunications products.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management, lead generation, and account development independently.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset to foster long-term client relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability in business development, inside/outside sales strategies, and direct sales techniques including cold calling and retail sales.
  • Analytical skills to assess market opportunities, evaluate competitive landscape, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Effective communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations confidently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a proactive approach toward achieving sales targets. Pay: $7,000.00 - $11,000.00 per month
