This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring all parts and supplies are ordered, tracked, and delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both in the office and occasionally out in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order parts based on approved estimates for all jobs
- Source and procure necessary materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment
- Verify accuracy of incoming parts and materials
- Occasionally pick up supplies from local vendors and stores
- Maintain physical audits of supplies on hand
- Keep shop supplies and parts organized and properly stored
- Assist team members with parts-related inquiries and needs
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in ordering and record-keeping
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, order tracking)
- Prior experience in parts, inventory, or purchasing is a plus
