Fiberglass Pool Designs LLC is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our Hamilton, NJ swimming pool store! Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting pool products, accessories, and supplies to meet their needs
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on pool chemicals, equipment, and maintenance solutions
- Perform water testing and advise customers on proper pool water chemistry and treatment
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked showroom floor
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Stay up to date on new pool products, fiberglass pool options, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Interest or experience in swimming pools, pool maintenance, or outdoor living products is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful demeanor
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and processing transactions
- Ability to work weekends, especially during peak pool season
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn pool water chemistry and product knowledge through on-the-job training
