Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operators and directional drill locators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, directional drills, and vacuum trailers on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction site experience.
- Ability to locate in an efficient manner and doing do safely using digitrak equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred; experience with tanker operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Directionsl drilling machinery and various types of construction equipment is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
