FIS Blue, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and supply of fiber optic products for broadcast, military, harsh environment, and maritime applications, is seeking an energetic Sales Executive to join its team at the Oriskany, NY headquarters. This is a full-time position with a lucrative salary, commission, and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Drive new business by identifying prospects through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations that highlight solution value.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Track sales metrics, analyze market trends, and report insights to support strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand networks.
- Approximate travel: 20%
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Sales Expertise: Strong negotiation, persuasion, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with active listening and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Analytical Ability: Capable of analyzing sales data, interpreting market trends, and making informed business decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, CRM software, and data analytics tools.
- Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic, adaptable, and accountable, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Education: College degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar sales or business development role is preferred.
- Training: Paid fiber optic product and technical training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Compensation:
- Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, plus commission. The role includes a guaranteed book of $2,000,000 in sales, with a 1% commission on all sales. Once fully trained, top performers can achieve $3β5 million in sales annually.
- Participation in additional profit-sharing program.
