Fiber Instrument Sales Inc., Oriskany NY, is seeking dependable and reliable individuals to fill openings in our various fiber optic manufacturing departments. On-the-job training is provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow defined procedures to manufacture, assemble, and test fiber optic cable assemblies.
- Utilize various hand tools, operate precision automated and manual equipment.
- Maintain high quality standards and complete quality records.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
- High Aptitude to learn.
- Verbal and written understanding of English.
- Dependable with strong work ethic.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and lift for duration of shift.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 35lbs.
- Manual dexterity & hand eye coordination, including the ability to grasp and manipulate components that are very small to quite large.
Job Type: Full- time
Salary: Starting at $15.00 hourly rate
IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skills.
