What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Patient Coordinator position at FI Group LLC?
The Orthodontic Patient Coordinator supports the Orthodontist and the team by maintaining daily operations consistent of best practices. The Orthodontic Patient Coordinator will be responsible to work closely with families to discuss all facets of orthodontic care prior to starting treatment including patient care options, financial management, and insurance benefit interpretation. The Orthodontic Patient Coordinator will display servant leadership skills to ensure high team member engagement while creating a culture conducive of a thriving practice.
Work Schedule:
Mon - Thurs; 7:30 am - 5:00 pm | Fri; 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
Job Type: Full time
Location(s): Plover, Weston and Shawano (up to two days per month)
- High school diploma required
- Experience as an orthodontic assistant beneficial
- Must be able to act calmly and effectively in stressful situations
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, parents, team members and doctors
- Knowledge of insurance benefits
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and quality indicators
- Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Dolphin and Dolphin Imaging strongly desired
