We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable window/door installer in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. All Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in residential window and door replacement installation and possess excellent carpentry skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two years of window installation experience (patio doors, bays, bows, full frames, and replacement windows).
- Two years of finishing carpentry experience and/or general carpentry experience.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or trade school diploma/certificate desired but not required.
- Direct customer service and problem-resolution experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a truck capable of pulling an enclosed trailer and basic hand tools.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This key position is responsible for making our customer’s projects come to life and ensuring all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner, and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. The Installer will be responsible for site prep work, simple carpentry work, as well as the installation of all windows and doors.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installs new windows and doors and related accessories according to company, safety, and manufacturer's specifications
- Ensures complete protection of customer's property during installation or service of product
- Removes all old window/door from customer's home and cleans up all areas utilized for the new installation
- Maintains the highest level of customer service while performing installation and other job duties while promoting additional products and services to the customer
- Maintains the highest level of standards for time management and quality completions.
- Ensures material inventory and maintenance for vehicles is completed to company requirements
- Supervises Install Helper to ensure high quality and timely completions for all installations
- Writes up service work orders, completes product order forms, completes repairs, and communicates with customers on a regular basis
- Performs fieldwork necessary for resolving customer complaints, along with monitoring/inspecting new installs to ensure products and services provided are to company standards
- Must be able to use a brake and be fully capable of bending and cutting metal and wood products to complete all installs and repairs
- Performs other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, lift, climb, and bend. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 – 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

General construction equipment and power tools.
