Sanitation Associate Purpose: Keeps the work site clean and free of debris.
Essential Functions:
Maintains a clean working environment for assigned area within the Warehouse Facility. Clears debris and dunnage from work area, maintains cleanliness of breakrooms, office spaces and restrooms.
Operates industrial equipment:
Bailer to remove bails from unit and load in a central designated area.
Pallet Jacks and Stand-up Forklifts to relocate materials.
Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
Clean up any spills or breakages of product.
Notifies operations management regarding conditions on dock and within the warehouse facility of any concerns regarding safety, overall organization of the work area and provides suggestions for improvement.
This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
