Role Description The Service Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Pompano Beach, FL. This position oversees daily service scheduling, job assignment, and coordination between technicians, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of marine maintenance projects. The role includes managing work orders, tracking service progress, and maintaining accurate documentation in company systems. The Service Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and supporting a high level of customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include assisting with operational planning, inventory and parts coordination, and ensuring alignment with FHG’s safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Service Coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and managing work orders.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate with technicians, clients, and vendors.
- Experience in Operations Management, preferably in a service or marine-related environment.
- Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship building.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for documentation, record-keeping, and follow-through.
- Ability to work on-site in Pompano Beach, FL and adapt to a dynamic, field-service environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software and service management tools; experience with scheduling systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in marine engineering, maritime services, or related technical industries is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business, logistics, or marine-related fields are an advantage.
