Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to add a 1st shift Supervisor to our Lettershop team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise Lettershop Production personnel.
- Ensure that all work produced meets quality standards and client specifications.
- Facilitate a consistently high level of production.
- Empower all employees to succeed.
- Fulfill all health and safety duties corresponding with the job as deemed appropriate by Management.
- Maintain knowledge of all current Freedom Graphics Systems practices/policies.
- Promote a safe, positive, team atmosphere.
- Perform employee evaluations, disciplinary actions. and coordinate employee progression/training.
- Undertake additional tasks as seen appropriate by management.
Qualifications:
- The ability to build and lead a team.
- Detail orientated and committed to quality.
- Highly organized and analytical.
- The ability to multi-task within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Possess proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience with Lettershop equipment preferably within a direct mail environment is highly desired.
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Intermediate computer skills within a Microsoft Windows Environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills (knowledge of calculator and ruler)
- Fluent in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus
