What You’ll Do:
- Hunt for new business! Expand your network, generate leads, and build strong customer relationships through cold calls, referrals, and industry events.
- Close the deal. Own the sales cycle from start to finish—lead generation, negotiations, closing, and account management.
- Hit your targets! Utilize consultative sales techniques to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals.
- Work cross-functionally. Partner with leadership, pricing, procurement, project managers, operations, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay organized. Keep detailed records of sales efforts in our CRM, participate in training, and attend company meetings.
- Get out there! Travel 50-65% within your territory to meet clients, assess their needs, and deliver winning proposals.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of B2B sales experience OR 5 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience in Building Materials, Metals, Construction, or Architectural Services preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend contracts, blueprints, and construction drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office & CRM systems.
- Comfortable walking long distances and lifting items (25-50 lbs.) when needed.
