Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe handling.
- Organize and store packages systematically within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks with precision, verifying shipments against documentation.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements accurately throughout the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move packages of various sizes and weights.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, including filing records of shipments and inventory logs.
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
