FG Construction, LLC is seeking reliable and safety-focused MOT Flaggers to support our roadway and infrastructure projects throughout South Florida. This role is critical to maintaining safe traffic flow and protecting our crews, motorists, and the public.
Position Summary
The MOT Flagger is responsible for directing and controlling vehicular and pedestrian traffic in accordance with approved Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, FDOT standards, and company safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely direct traffic using hand signals, flags, cones, and signage
- Follow approved MOT plans and FDOT guidelines at all times
- Communicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and the public
- Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control devices as required
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings to prevent accidents or hazards
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on duty
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or damaged equipment immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Prior roadway or construction experience preferred, but not required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time
- Day, night, and weekend shifts may be required
- Outdoor work on active construction sites and roadways
