Senior GL Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior GL Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be an integral part of our Accounting & Finance division - owning the integrity of our general ledger and playing a key role in the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Oversee revenue recognition across all service lines, ensuring accurate and timely recording in accordance with GAAP as part of the month-end close cycle.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends and variances.
• Prepare files to aid in the preparation of tax returns and reports.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects.
• Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
