Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Lead Trainee to learn daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in manufacturing. As an Operations Lead Trainee, you will be responsible for optimizing processes, transferring material, programming automated machines and ensuring a safe working environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing and selecting candidates for various positions.
- Collaborate with management on work flow and ensuring product is completed on time.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
- Balancing machine operations with leadership responsibilities.
- Operation of forklifts and other material handling vehicles.
Experience
Prefer candidates to have prior experience in manufacturing management or a similar supervisory role. Key qualifications include:
- Experience in inventory management and control processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on training & development of team members.
