Position Summary:
Join our unionized pressroom team as a Press Operator. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate and maintain Mitsubishi 40-inch, Hamada 21-inch, and Ryobi sheet-fed offset presses, ensuring every job meets Fey’s standards of quality and precision. Our team works collaboratively in a supportive, safety-focused environment where contributions are recognized and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain Mitsubishi 40", Hamada 21", and Ryobi sheet-fed offset presses
- Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and quality; make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve press issues to minimize downtime
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Accurately follow work orders, job tickets, and schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; adhere to all safety policies
- Log production and maintenance data as required
- Follow all union and company standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in printing a plus
- Prior experience operating sheet-fed offset presses strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret job instructions and schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime as needed according to production schedule and union agreement

- This is a union position; union membership is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.67 - $27.30 per hour
